Alvarado FFA scholars find success at Johnson County Junior Livestock Show

Alvarado FFA scholars brought home a total of $39,100 from Saturday’s closing sale at the Johnson County Stockshow. The show, which lasts an entire week, includes showing animals, a youth fair and ag-mechanic projects.

·      1st in class 2, 1st in class 7, Reserve lightweight division, Reserve Heavyweight Division, & Reserve Champion Goat Overall (Mollie Jones)

·      2nd in class 8 (Ava Peña)

·      3rd in class 8, pulled for senior showmanship (Gerardo Ruiz-Martinez)

·      8th in class 4 (Tabitha Hubbard)

·      5th in class 6 (Siloe Argumedo)

·      7th in class 9, pulled for senior showmanship (Ali Wooten)
