Parents of new Pre-K scholars will be required to complete online verification for the 2025-2026 school year through Family Skyward Access. You can do this from any computer, anywhere, with Internet access.

2 EASY STEPS TO REGISTER:

STEP 1: COMPLETE PRE-K QUESTIONNAIRE

Alvarado ISD offers full-day Prekindergarten to scholars who are 4 years old by September 1st of the current school year and meets at least one of the federal requirements. Please complete the PRE-K ELIGIBILITY QUESTIONNAIRE (ENGLISH) or PRE-K ELIGIBILITY QUESTIONNAIRE (SPANISH) to determine if your scholar qualifies for the Prekindergarten program. If your scholar qualifies, please complete the registration process through our Skyward software program. **If your scholar was in the AISD's Prekindergarten program (2024-2025), you will only need to complete the "Back to School" registration in Skyward, NOT new student registration. Current AISD Prekindergarten scholars will automatically be enrolled into 2025-2026 Kindergarten classes. 

STEP 2: COMPLETE REGISTRATION ONLINE THROUGH SKYWARD PORTAL

What to Bring:

In order to comply with state and local mandates, as well as local school board policy, parents or guardians must produce the following documents:

Pre-Kindergarten ONLY
Documents needed for Registration
Documents needed for Registration (Spanish)
Income Qualifier

Government-issued Copy of Birth Certificate
Students must be age 4 as of September 1, 2025

Social Security Card
Must be the child’s card

Immunization Record
Record of all immunizations and/or boosters

Driver’s License or Texas ID
Must be provided by the parent/legal guardian registering the child

Residency Verification
One of the following documents to prove you live within the Alvarado ISD:

  • Any utility being serviced in the home (water, electric, internet, cable)
  • Lease Agreement (listing all occupants)
  • Mortgage Agreement
  • Notarized letter from your landlord (listing all  occupants)


If your family is residing with another individual and your name is not included on a utility bill, the lease or rental agreement, a Statement of Residence from the homeowner or lessee stating that you reside with them, along with a copy of their current utility bill, will be acceptable.
