Students at Alvarado Intermediate School had the opportunity to experience a digital college and career night last week with their families.
Participants were able to tour a college campus in the library by using Google VR headsets. They were able to see a campus library, dorm rooms, gym, student center, cafeteria and classrooms.
In each classroom, students had set up folder projects regarding the careers and colleges they are interested in. Students were also able to show their college slideshow presentations to their parents on Chrome books that were displayed in each room.
Guest speakers were made available to students and families to discuss careers the students were interested in.
