AIS hosts Multicultural Night

Students at Alvarado Intermediate School had the opportunity to dive into different cultures from around the world at the school’s annual AVID Multicultural Night.

Each social studies class in the school was assigned a different country and spent class time researching their country. Students discovered different things about their country, ranging from popular cuisine, government, what the economy is based off of and interesting places to visit.

While guests walked through the gym looking at booths reflecting each grade levels research, AIS bilingual students performed traditional dances from Mexico.
