Medication

Prescription Medication

All prescription medications will REQUIRE a physician's signature (ADHD/ADD, narcotic pain medication, asthma inhalers, epi-pens, etc).  Click HERE for the required Prescription Medication Form.

A maximum of a 30 day supply of ADHD/ADD medication will be stored in the school nurse's office.

Over-the-Counter Medication

Only the following over-the-counter medications will be administered with parental consent:

• Ibuprofen (Advil)
• Acetaminophen (Tylenol)
• Oral Antihistimine (Benadryl)
• Calcium Carbonate (Tums - 12 years and older only)
• Antibiotic Cream
• Hydrocortisone Cream
• Saline Wash
• Sting Relief

All over-the-counter medications will only be administered per directions on the bottle with regards to dosing and age requirements.

All other over-the-counter medications will require a physician's signature.
